Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Concrete Carpenter to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of concrete-related tasks, from forming and finishing to installation and restoration. Your expertise will help bring structural visions to life, ensuring safety, durability, and high-quality craftsmanship on every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, including commercial, utilizing your technical skills and passion for building. Duties • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute concrete structures and forms. • Set up formwork using carpentry skills, including concrete forming. • Operate power tools and hand tools safely to mix, pour, spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces with precision. • Install rebar (reinforcing steel bars) according to project specifications to strengthen concrete elements. • Use heavy equipment such as concrete pumps and mixers to ensure efficient material placement on site. • Conduct heavy lifting safely while managing materials like concrete blocks or heavy formwork components during installation or restoration projects. • Read blueprints and schematics accurately to plan tasks effectively and ensure adherence to project specifications. • Collaborate with other trades such as masonry, roofing, welding, and carpentry teams to coordinate complex construction activities. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements • Proven experience in construction with a focus on concrete work or related trades such as masonry or carpentry. • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems relevant to concrete mixing, pumping, and finishing equipment. • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with confidence. • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and construction site safety procedures. • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina throughout long shifts. • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for transporting materials or equipment when necessary. • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively across different trades and disciplines.
