15 years experience with 8 years leading IT software projects, PMP or CAPM certification, knowledge of specific Texas state IT frameworks and systems, and advanced MS Office skills.
Role: Senior IT Project Manager Location: Austin, TX 78751 Duration: Long Term Exp’s: 15 years Responsibilities: • 8 years leading Information Technology software development projects. • 8 years understanding of a variety of software development topics, such as requirements writing, development, software testing, and code promotion. • 8 years working knowledge of Project Management Life Cycle processes. • 6 years working knowledge of project documentation including charters, project plans, work breakdown structures, resource management, status reports, issues logs, action logs, and decision tracking documents. • 6 years ability to analyze complex information and develop plans to address identified issues. • 6 years ability to manage changes in project scope, resources, and budget • 6 years ability to communicate project progress and upcoming activities to project resources and all levels of project stakeholders. • 6 years skill in interpersonal relationships, including working with people under pressure, negotiating among multiple parties, resolving conflicts, and maintaining effective working relationships. • 6 years leading project teams to the successful completion of projects • 6 years advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, SharePoint, and Teams. • 3 years working knowledge of the following DFPS systems/programs: IMPACT, Community Based Care, CBC Batch and APIs. • 2 years Lead Project Manager on Major Information Resources Projects. • 2 years working knowledge of Texas Project Delivery Framework requirements for major Information Resources Projects. • 2 years strong understanding of EIR Accessibility requirements and their technical specifications. • 2 years knowledge of SACWIS (Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information Systems) Certification requirements • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute.
