We anticipate the need for one or more Machine Operator(s) with jobsite reporting and travel throughout the service territory based out of Maple Grove, MN. The starting rate of pay for this position is $51.46 hourly (2025 rate). This position will be posted internally for 10 Working Days from December 4, 2025, through December 17, 2025. Xcel Energy has sole right of selectivity. Summary Operating heavy equipment including but not limited to; digger derricks, backhoes, cranes, skid steers, material handlers (all-terrain forklifts), dump trucks and bucket trucks. Additionally, loading and transporting the delivery of materials and equipment, framing and setting transmission structures, operating wire tensioning and line stringing equipment, and ground support activities including but not limited to backfilling and tamping. Position responds to after-hours and weekend callouts. Required Two or more years of digger derrick and backhoe operator experience. High school diploma or GED. Must have valid Class A Commercial Driver's License. Must have total commitment to safety, quality, and customer service. Preferred Experience operating cranes, skid steers, material handlers, dump trucks, buckets trucks, wire tensioning and line stringing equipment. NCCCO crane certification.
