Job Summary We are looking for a meticulous and efficient professional to support our Central Receiving operations in a fast-paced, data-intensive environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of receiving documentation by verifying vendor deliveries against purchase orders, processing work order transfers, and maintaining precise records across multiple systems. The ideal candidate thrives in high-volume settings where speed and accuracy are paramount, and possesses strong computer skills with the ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Working collaboratively with planners, buyers, and field engineers, this individual will contribute to the seamless flow of materials and information throughout the organization. Responsibilities • Process and verify high-volume incoming field delivery documents from vendors • Match pack slips to purchase orders line-by-line to ensure accuracy • Perform work order transfers, ensuring correct job coding and cost allocation • Enter receiving data into SAP and other internal systems with speed and accuracy • Communicate with planners, buyers, and field teams to resolve discrepancies or missing information • Maintain organized, accurate records of all received materials and transactions • Support the Central Receiving team in processing approximately 600–1,000 order lines daily across the team • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and supply chain policies Skills • High-volume data entry and typing speed • SAP transaction processing • Microsoft Excel and Office Suite proficiency • Supply chain and receiving operations knowledge • Strong attention to detail • Exceptional organizational abilities • Professional communication skills • 10-key numeric entry by touch • Ability to process large quantities of data quickly and consistently Experience • 1–5 years of experience in supply chain, data entry, central receiving, accounts payable, or similar high-volume office environments • SAP experience required • Receiving or warehouse experience with strong computer proficiency preferred • Accounts payable experience with line-by-line matching and invoice/PO reconciliation preferred • Prior exposure to construction, utilities, or field-based operations environments preferred Qualifications • Strong keyboard proficiency including 10-key by touch for rapid numeric entry • Demonstrated ability to maintain high accuracy in repetitive tasks with fast turnaround times • Proven capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team where your contributions directly impact operational efficiency and accuracy.
