Full Description

Company Overview: We are a fast-growing trucking company in Atlanta operating an 8-truck fleet. We are looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-driven Compliance & Fleet Administrative Assistant to help stabilize operations and support the safety, maintenance, and compliance side of the business. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys structure, checklists, paperwork, and keeping a company organized and audit-ready. If you love staying ahead of deadlines and supporting a busy trucking operation behind the scenes — this is for you. Position: Part-Time (25–30 hrs/week) → Opportunity to grow into full-time Schedule: On-site, Monday–Friday Start Date: ASAP Pay: $20–$22/hr (based on experience) • Track mileage and PM schedules • Schedule truck repairs and preventive maintenance • Communicate with shops, vendors, and mechanics • Maintain inventory of parts, PPE, and safety equipmentKey Responsibilities Compliance & Safety • Update and maintain DQ files (licenses, med cards, MVRs, certifications) • Track expirations: registrations, insurance, medical cards, permits • Monitor ELD/HOS reports and note violations • Assist with DOT audit preparation and documentation • Maintain safety logs and accident registers Fleet & Maintenance Support • Insurance & Documentation • Assist with insurance paperwork, renewals, and COIs • Gather documents for insurance claims • Organize digital and physical records Office & Administrative Support • File, scan, organize, and maintain company documents • Assist with billing documents (BOL/POD collection, scanning, uploading) • Support dispatcher with paperwork or follow-up as needed Requirements • Prior experience in trucking, logistics, or fleet administration preferred • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Comfortable with spreadsheets, digital filing, and structured workflows • Able to follow checklists and complete tasks independently • Clear communication skills • Professional, dependable, calm under pressure • Must be available to start within 1–2 weeks Benefits of This Role • Stable long-term position • Room to grow into a full-time operations or compliance lead • Supportive environment • Clear structure and defined responsibilities • Opportunity to help build systems from the ground up How to Apply Please apply with your resume and answer the following questions: • Do you have experience in trucking, fleet operations, or compliance? • Are you comfortable with paperwork, checklists, and digital filing? • Can you work on-site Monday–Friday in Atlanta? • How soon can you start? • What is your expected hourly rate?
