Full Description

Position Overview The Employee Benefits Project Manager plays a critical role within WTW’s Alternative Asset Insurance Solutions (AAIS) Group. AAIS provides employee benefits due diligence for private equity firms, evaluating costs, liabilities, and risk exposures for potential acquisitions. In this role, you will lead the full employee benefits due diligence process—from initial engagement through deal close—serving as a subject‑matter expert across health & welfare benefits, retirement plans, and post‑transaction integration strategies. You will manage cross‑functional workstreams, analyze employer benefit programs, and deliver clear, executive‑ready reports to private equity clients. Key Responsibilities Due Diligence Leadership Manage all aspects of employee benefits due diligence for private equity transactions, from kickoff through close. Serve as the primary point of contact for AAIS Producers and private equity clients throughout the engagement. Oversee workflows, timelines, and deliverables across multidisciplinary teams. Analysis & Reporting Conduct detailed analyses of employee benefit programs for mid‑market companies. Interpret and assess plan documents, financial data, contribution strategies, vendor contracts, compliance materials, and government filings (e.g., Form 5500). Develop financial models and reporting using WTW templates and standards. Draft and present comprehensive due diligence reports with clear findings, risks, cost implications, and recommendations. Internal & External Collaboration Work closely with subject‑matter experts across HR operations, payroll, actuarial, legal, compliance, and retirement teams. Partner with AAIS Producers to support pre‑deal scoping and client communication. Contribute to post‑close support and help secure Broker of Record assignments for WTW where appropriate.
