West Lorne, Ontario Employment Type: Part-time Submission End Date: On-going Reporting to the Owner/Operator, the cleaner is responsible for the cleaning and sanitization of office areas, bathrooms, lunchrooms, and common areas. Key Responsibilities • To clean areas according to assigned schedules using appropriate cleaning and sanitation methods and procedures • To clean medical rooms, office areas, common areas, including furniture, kitchen and washroom fixtures, walls, ceilings, lights, vents, and windows • Follow laundry protocols and housekeeping schedules • Competent with cleaning software to complete tasks with technological devices • To pick up garbage and transport to designated areas • To adhere to established location policies and procedures, including safety rules and safe working practices • To prepare documentation as required according to location policies • To attend in-service training as required in order to better serve the needs of the customers • To attend staff meetings as required to be aware of company changes • To work in a position of trust due to the autonomous nature of the job • To uphold and promote the organization’s values and philosophy relating particularly to ethics, morality, and integrity as set out in WrightCleaning Services Code of Conduct • To complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications • Good oral and written English communication skills • Ability to provide feedback on a day-to-day basis • Knowledge and experience with standard institutional cleaning techniques • Previous experience in commercial/residential/ healthcare cleaning • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job • Must provide a complete and current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or be willing to obtain one Compensation Hourly Rate based on experience Job Type: Part-Time Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 /hour Part-time hours: 6-12 hours per week Schedule: • Evening shift Ability to commute/relocate: • West Lorne, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: • Cleaning: 1 year (preferred) • janitorial: 1 year (preferred) • Drivers licensee Language: • English (preferred) Licence/Certification: • Driving Licence (preferred) Ability to Commute: • West Lorne, ON N0L 2P0 (required) Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 6 – 12 per week Work Location: In person
