This is a role for someone who loves the intersection of media strategy, data, business performance, and local-market dynamics. You'll help determine where we invest, how much we invest, which channels make the most sense, and how those decisions should change based on what is happening in each market. Shape Our Media Strategy You'll lead media strategy and planning across our local markets and own the portfolio-wide approach to awareness media across traditional and digital channels. You'll establish planning principles and investment guardrails while recommending the right channel mix, investment levels, reach, frequency, flighting, and timing by market and service line. Most importantly, you'll bring a point of view. You'll use data and business priorities to challenge assumptions, evaluate tradeoffs, and make clear recommendations about where Wrench should—and shouldn't—invest. Understand What's Happening in the Market Great media strategy starts with understanding the market. You'll evaluate audience behavior, competition, seasonality, media consumption, cost dynamics, operational capacity, and business needs to determine what makes sense for each market. Turn Business Goals Into Media Plans You'll translate business priorities into actionable media strategies, forecasts, briefs, and measurable planning requirements.\ You'll connect awareness investment to the things that matter to our business—demand, leads, capacity, and revenue—and help us continually improve how we measure media effectiveness. You'll also present recommendations, tradeoffs, and performance implications to senior marketing and business leaders—so the ability to turn complex information into a clear recommendation is important. Qualifications Do I Have What it akes? We're looking for someone who combines strong media expertise with business judgment, analytical thinking, and the confidence to make a recommendation. Ideally, you'll bring: 7+ years of progressive experience in media strategy, media planning, integrated marketing, or a related discipline, including experience with complex, multi-market or multi-brand portfolios. Strong experience balancing traditional and digital awareness channels based on market conditions and business objectives. Experience managing or influencing significant media investment and making allocation recommendations. Strong analytical, forecasting, and financial-planning capabilities. A track record of connecting media strategy to measurable awareness, demand, lead, or revenue outcomes. Experience developing planning baselines, forecasts, performance expectations, and investment guardrails. Strong executive communication skills and the ability to explain the “why” behind a recommendation. A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is preferred but not required.
