Bachelor's degree, 5+ years IT security experience, 3+ years security architecture experience, U.S. citizenship, and preferred familiarity with MAC-ARS controls and AI security.
Role Summary The Principal IT Security Architect will lead the review, recommendation, and documentation of standards and best practices for data, network, cloud, and application security. This role will design and oversee the implementation of secure IT systems and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: • Monitor industry standard best practices and trends to support the ongoing development of cyber security controls. • Design and develop security architecture strategies and frameworks for on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments. • Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and engineering teams to implement best practices in secure system design. • Participate in the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and Technical Review Board (TRB) to provide security and network architecture expertise. Requirements: • U.S. Citizenship is required due to Department of Defense restrictions. • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field. • 5 or more years of experience in IT security. • 3 or more years in security architecture or similar role designing and developing information security solutions. Preferred Qualifications: • Familiarity with MAC-ARS controls preferred. • Exposure to AI security technology solutions.
