Lead high-volume outbound sales and build relationships with hospital administrators to grow outpatient wound care programs.
Proven healthcare sales experience, consultative selling skills, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
About Wound Care Advantage Wound Care Advantage (WCA) is the nation's leading wound care consulting and management firm, with over 25 years of experience helping hospitals launch, manage, and optimize outpatient wound care centers. WCA supports self-managed programs, helps centers transition off management contracts, and provides the operational tools, clinical expertise, and business intelligence that wound care programs need to thrive independently. Our Support Model, combined with the Luvo business intelligence platform and VOICE performance framework, helps hospitals improve outcomes, restore program revenue, and operate with greater transparency and accountability. WCA has partnered with 200+ wound care centers across the country and has built a reputation as the alternative to traditional management company models. The Opportunity Hospital outpatient wound care is at a turning point. Increasing CMS enforcement and compliance risk are forcing individual facilities and community hospitals to reassess their current wound care management arrangements, and that creates a real opening for someone who knows how to have that conversation. We are looking for a driven, experienced healthcare sales professional who thrives in a high-outreach environment and knows how to build relationships with hospital administrators, service line directors, and wound care program leaders. This role is focused on individual hospitals and wound care centers. You will be identifying facilities that are underperforming, over-reliant on management company contracts, or looking to launch or improve their outpatient wound care program, and introducing them to WCA's consulting and support services. You are comfortable making cold calls, following up persistently, and turning a skeptical administrator into an engaged prospect. You also have the clinical or operational knowledge to lead early-stage consultative conversations, helping prospective clients understand what a wound care program can look like when it is running the way it should. What You Will Do • Identify and target individual hospitals, critical access hospitals, and community health systems with existing or planned outpatient wound care programs • Build and manage a high-volume outbound pipeline through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and referral development • Establish and maintain relationships with hospital administrators, CNOs, CFOs, service line directors, and wound care program managers • Lead discovery conversations that uncover operational, clinical, and financial pain points and connect those pain points to WCA's services • Develop and deliver tailored presentations and proposals for individual hospital prospects • Identify centers currently operating under management company contracts, Healogics, RestorixHealth, Diversified, and others, and introduce WCA's transition consulting services • Collaborate with WCA's clinical and operations team to hand off qualified prospects smoothly • Track all activity and pipeline in CRM and report weekly on outreach volume, pipeline status, and conversion metrics What We're Looking For Required: • Proven experience in business development or sales within healthcare services, hospital outpatient programs, or wound care • Demonstrated success in a high-outreach sales environment, you are not waiting for inbound leads • Experience selling to hospital administrators, service line directors, or clinical leadership at the individual facility level • Working knowledge of outpatient wound care, hospital-based outpatient programs, or adjacent service lines such as infusion, hyperbaric, or rehab • Consultative selling ability, you ask good questions and lead with the client's problem, not your pitch • Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment Preferred: • Experience with wound care management companies such as Healogics, RestorixHealth, Diversified, or SwiftMD, either as a former employee or through competitive sales experience, is a significant plus • Familiarity with CMS regulatory trends impacting outpatient services Compensation & Benefits • Competitive base salary ($110,000–$130,000) plus a highly competitive and aggressive commission plan with uncapped earning potential • Remote, U.S.-based with regional travel as needed • Access to CRM, sales intelligence tools, and marketing support • Direct visibility and collaboration with WCA's executive leadership team Why WCA WCA has spent more than two decades building credibility in a space that is changing fast. As hospitals reassess traditional management company models, our transparent, outcomes-driven approach gives facilities a real alternative — and gives the right sales professional a real story to tell. This is not a role where you are pushing a product. You are solving a problem that hospital administrators are already feeling, and WCA gives you the tools and track record to back it up. Cover Letter Required Please include a cover letter with your application and answer the following question: Describe a healthcare service or solution you sold that required you to navigate multiple decision makers at the hospital or facility level. What was the service, who did you sell to, and how did you get it across the finish line? Applications without a cover letter addressing this question may not be considered. Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Flexible spending account • Health insurance • Paid time off • Sabbatical • Vision insurance Application Question(s): • Do you have direct experience with outpatient wound care programs or hospital-based wound centers? • Have you ever worked for or directly competed against Healogics, RestorixHealth, Diversified, or SwiftMD? • How do you typically generate your own leads? This role has no inbound support. • Describe in one sentence the most complex hospital sale you've closed — what was the service and who did you sell to? • What is your desired salary? Work Location: Remote
