A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $75,600.00 to $94,500.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. We call it an ecosystem that is front ended by our WWT Platform (Website). It's the place engineers and architects go for exclusive resources, guidance and tools. In the ATC, we provide Labs, Learning Paths, Cyber Range, Proof of Concepts, Lab Hosting Programs, and WWT Research. These offerings are meant for our Customers, Partners, and Internal Employees who need training and education on the latest and greatest solutions across all technology domains. What will you be doing? The ASD Technical Solutions Engineer-II will be responsible for developing, demonstrating, and maintaining environments in the WWT Advanced Technology Center (ATC). Also, the position will include creating external and internal facing content (such as documentation, videos, labs, and whitepapers) around technologies related to: • AI and Cyber Security Technologies responsible for ensuring the right users have the appropriate access to company resources. • Hands-on experience with one or more AI/Cyber solutions like CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, Cisco, and Security Operations technologies • Develop collateral content around Threat Detections and Incident Response technologies in the form of articles and videos. • Collaborate with team members to develop innovative labs around security • Review and assess new and existing security platform content • Learn how to design lab network diagrams using solutions like Lucid Chart and Microsoft Visio. • Learn about cloud-based technologies that support lab environments like VMware's vCloud and vCenter • Learning document writing philosophies likes Docs as Code. • Zero Trust- Information Technology security framework that provides secure access to applications and services based on defined access control policies, whether a user is inside or outside an organization's network. • Endpoint Security- Technologies designed to improve the visibility, protection and management of your endpoints with speed and scale, all while securing your data and driving operational efficiencies. • Cloud Security – Solutions utilized to protect virtualized IP, data, applications, services, and the associated infrastructure of cloud computing. The TSE-II is expected to represent WWT as a junior level subject matter expert on security and work towards constant self-improvement to become a Senior level subject matter expert. The TSE-II will learn/demonstrate communication and presentation skills to engineering and senior level team members and clients in areas around AI Security, Threat Detection and IR, Network Security, and Cloud Security. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Entry-level skill in a primary engineering security domain • Willingness and capability to technologically support sales, internal practice activities, and work across teams • Provide content in the form of articles, blogs and labs for publication on the WWT platform web site • Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware related to labs • Develop and build security solutions in the Advanced Technology Center in support of customer and/or internal requirements • Able to explain basic, domain-specific technologies to both internal and external audiences • Ability to ask the right questions to understand customer business and operational challenges along with customer initiatives to propose technology that can address these issues • Actively contribute content and expertise for videos, demos, and other content reflecting your domain on the Digital Platform • Collaboration across teams when needed • Active, passionate learner who is receptive to coaching from peers • Embrace and Strengthen WWT's culture through our Core Values: • Trust • Humility • Embrace Change • Passion • Attitude • Team Player • Honesty
