Global Account Manager Role Overview - Central/Eastern Time Zone. As a Global Account Manager, you will serve as a strategic partner to multinational clients with complex travel program needs across multiple regions and markets. You will lead the overall client relationship, helping global organizations achieve their travel program objectives while ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience across their worldwide operations. In this role, you will work closely with clients, global travel partners, and internal teams to drive program performance, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. You will bring a consultative approach to understanding client priorities, navigating global complexities, and delivering solutions that create measurable value. Success in this role requires strong relationship management skills, global business awareness, commercial acumen, and the ability to balance strategic oversight with operational execution. Core Responsibilities * Build and maintain relationships with travel managers, procurement leaders, executive sponsors, and other key stakeholders across multiple regions. * Develop a deep understanding of each client's business objectives, travel program strategy, and global operational requirements. * Conduct strategic business reviews and present program performance, insights, recommendations, and opportunities for improvement. * Partner with clients to develop and execute account plans that support travel program goals and long-term success. * Collaborate with global partners and internal teams to ensure consistent service delivery and alignment across markets. * Monitor program performance, service levels, contractual commitments, and key performance indicators. * Identify opportunities to optimize travel programs, enhance traveler experience, improve operational efficiency, and support cost savings objectives. * Support client negotiations, supplier strategies, and consulting initiatives through collaboration with internal subject matter experts. * Analyze reporting, traveler trends, market changes, and industry developments to provide strategic guidance and recommendations. * Maintain clear and proactive communication across internal teams, global partners, and client stakeholders. * Represent World Travel, Inc. professionally in client meetings, industry events, and strategic business discussions.
