Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Bathroom Remodeling Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming bathrooms into beautiful, functional spaces by executing precise carpentry and renovation tasks. Your expertise will help ensure each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities • Measure, cut, assemble, and install bathroom fixtures, cabinetry, vanities, and shelving with precision using hand tools and power tools. • Frame walls, install drywall, and perform finishing carpentry such as trim work, door hanging, and caulking to achieve a polished look. • Read blueprints and schematics accurately to ensure all components align with project specifications. • Install plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers, ensuring proper connections and water flow. • Apply surface treatments such as plastering, stucco, or painting to create a seamless aesthetic finish. • Perform concrete forming and rebar installation for bathroom foundation or flooring enhancements when necessary. • Maintain a clean and safe construction site by adhering to safety protocols and managing heavy lifting tasks efficiently. Skills • Extensive experience in construction estimating and blueprint reading for remodeling projects. • Proficiency in trim carpentry, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, and woodworking techniques. • Skilled in the use of hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws, sanders). • Knowledge of plumbing installation and electrical experience related to bathroom fixtures. • Ability to perform tile laying, flooring installation, siding work, and roofing as needed for comprehensive remodels. • Familiarity with restoration industry practices including water damage restoration and mold remediation. • Strong understanding of schematics for fixture installation and schematic reading skills for complex projects. • Experience with heavy lifting equipment and safe handling of construction materials such as concrete or rebar.
