Job Title: Part-Time Payroll & Benefits Coordinator (Remote) Company: WorkWell Dental Group Location: Remote (U.S.-based) Schedule: 16–20 hours per week Compensation: Commensurate with experience About Us: At WorkWell Dental Group, we believe in delivering exceptional care not only to our patients but also to our dedicated team. We operate a network of dental practices committed to clinical excellence and a supportive, team-oriented culture. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll & Benefits Coordinator to support our HR and Finance teams on a part-time basis. Position Overview: We’re seeking a highly organized, reliable, and knowledgeable Payroll & Benefits Coordinator to oversee and manage all aspects of payroll processing and benefits administration. This individual will also serve as a key point of contact for employment verifications, leave management, unemployment claims, and other payroll-related matters. This is a remote position requiring a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and autonomy. Key Responsibilities: • Payroll Administration: • Process biweekly payroll accurately and on time for multiple locations • Ensure all wage, hour, and tax regulations are followed • Maintain payroll records and reports • Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate reports • Benefits Administration: • Manage employee enrollments, changes, and terminations in health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans • Act as a liaison between employees and benefit providers • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefit plans • Leave Management: • Administer FMLA, PFML, and other leave types in accordance with federal, state, and company policy • Track leave balances and coordinate with managers and employees on return-to-work procedures • Employment Verifications & Claims: • Respond to employment and wage verification requests • Manage and respond to unemployment claims • Complete and submit worker’s compensation claim forms and questionnaires • Compliance & Reporting: • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws • Assist with audits and reporting as required • Maintain employee confidentiality and data security at all times Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience in payroll and benefits administration (multi-state experience preferred) • Proficiency with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar) • Strong knowledge of FMLA, PFML, and other federal/state leave laws • Understanding of HR compliance and best practices • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with integrity • Experience in the healthcare or dental industry is a plus What We Offer: • Flexible remote work environment • Opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven, growing organization • Supportive and collaborative team culture • Competitive hourly compensation based on experience To Apply: Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter detailing your experience and interest in the role to [Insert Application Email or Link Here].
