Workspire is partnered with a family-owned leader in the parks and recreation industry to find a personable and motivated South Area Manager. Since 1994, our client has represented high-quality playground and outdoor furnishing products across the Rocky Mountain region, helping schools, municipalities, churches, and developers bring community spaces to life. This role is focused on South Denver, covering Aurora, Parker, Castle Rock, Colorado Springs, and Pueblo. As a Manufacturers Rep, you’ll manage the full lifecycle of projects from concept and design through installation while collaborating with architects, engineers, general contractors, and public agencies. The ideal candidate combines sales drive with community-minded relationship building, thriving in an environment where technical projects meet meaningful client impact. What You’ll Do • Own and grow a dedicated sales territory across the South territory (Aurora, Parker, Castle Rock, Colorado Springs, and Pueblo) • Manage full-cycle sales process from prospecting to close and project execution • Partner with architects, engineers, and consultants during the design phase • Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, park departments, developers, and churches • Represent a portfolio of outdoor recreation and playground products • Provide light technical input using CAD tools as needed for basic layout or review • Work closely with internal marketing and project coordination teams to ensure smooth execution Who You Are • 3+ years of experience at the intersection of sales, project coordination, and construction/engineering familiarity • Experience with public procurement, construction contracts, and RFPs • Highly personable, approachable, and able to connect with a wide range of stakeholders • Driven with a strong mentality to handle project timelines, contractor relationships, and closing deals • Comfortable navigating both B2B and public sector environments • Familiar with construction processes, general contractors, or playground/park design preferred • Experience with CAD or working alongside design teams is a plus Compensation & Perks • Compensation: $50,000-$100,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission • The achievable On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this role is $175,000+ at the end of year 2 based on profitability targets • Hybrid remote schedule • Generous PTO • Christmas through New Years off • Healthcare reimbursement • 401(k) Equal Opportunity Employer We’re committed to building a team that reflects the communities we serve.
