Position Summary Workspend is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Implementation Manager to lead and execute end-to-end implementations of Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Vendor Management System (VMS) programs for mid-to-large enterprise clients across the U.S. This is a hands-on role requiring a deep understanding of contingent workforce solutions, MSP operations, and VMS technology. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical acumen, client-facing expertise, and project management skills to ensure on-time, high-quality program launches. Key Responsibilities Program Implementation Leadership • Lead the full lifecycle of MSP/VMS program implementations from kick-off to go-live. • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery. • Coordinate cross-functional teams (operations, technology, suppliers, client stakeholders) to deliver agreed outcomes. Hands-On Configuration & Execution • Configure and test VMS platforms to meet client-specific requirements (fields, workflows, reporting, integrations). • Validate data migration, integrations, and system functionality during UAT and go-live. • Troubleshoot issues during implementation, collaborating with technical teams and VMS partners. Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the implementation phase. • Facilitate requirements gathering workshops, status calls, and executive updates. • Translate business requirements into technical and operational deliverables. Process & Compliance • Ensure program design adheres to client compliance, legal, and operational policies. • Document workflows, SOPs, and training materials for both client and internal teams. Continuous Improvement • Capture lessons learned and contribute to refining Workspend’s implementation methodology. • Recommend best practices in contingent workforce program design, change management, and adoption. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience: • 5+ years’ experience in MSP/VMS program implementations within the contingent workforce industry. • Hands-on experience with leading VMS platforms (e.g., Beeline, Fieldglass, SimplifyVMS, Workday-VNDLY, etc.). • Proven track record delivering mid-to-large enterprise client programs in the U.S. market. Technical Skills: • VMS configuration, workflow design, and reporting. • Data migration, integrations (ERP/HRIS), and UAT execution. • Strong proficiency in MS Project or similar project management tools. Soft Skills: • Excellent client engagement and relationship management capabilities. • Strong facilitation and communication skills with executive and operational stakeholders. • High attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple implementations in parallel. Other: • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed. • PMP or Agile certification is a plus. • Familiarity with Total Talent/Total Workforce Solutions is highly desirable. Success Measures • On-time, on-budget program launches. • Positive client satisfaction scores at go-live. • Minimal post-implementation issues or escalations. • Adoption of best practices and repeatable processes.
