Work Consulting is hiring PhD-level professionals in science and engineering disciplines to join research initiatives on a part-time or consulting basis. The role involves driving R&D projects, delivering technical insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align research with commercial applications. Responsibilities • Drive R&D projects across priority areas: • Biomedical Science, Physics, AI, Computer Science, Chemistry, Materials Science, Imaging, New Energy Batteries, Autonomous Driving, Industrial Software, Drones, Automation, Rail Transit, Geographic Information Surveying, Mechanical Manufacturing • Deliver technical insights, experimental design, and problem-solving to advance project milestones • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (remotely) to align research with commercial applications • Contribute to patentable innovations and technology transfer strategies Skills • PhD in a Science/Engineering discipline (specializations matching the above fields) • ≥3 years of post-PhD experience in your field (industry, academia, or R&D institutions) • Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage project timelines • Expertise in at least one core technology area (e.g., AI algorithms, Battery R&D, Autonomous Systems) Benefits • Talent Pool Benefit: Top candidates gain access to our client’s talent pool, unlocking ongoing project opportunities and remuneration.
