We believe the future of search is AI + Knowledge Graphs – and we’re building it. What You’ll Do At WordLift, engineers help shape the product – not just write code. You’ll work closely with the CTO and product team, contribute ideas, and ship features used by real customers every week. As a Full Stack Developer at WordLift, you’ll work across modern frontends and scalable backend systems while also integrating with real-world WordPress websites. If you enjoy building functional products end-to-end, this role is for you. Build new product features using React (UI, dashboards, user journeys) Develop backend services using Java + Spring Boot Work on WordPress full stack development: custom plugins, ACF, REST APIs, content models Collaborate with product, design and AI engineers to ship real features Maintain a high standard of code quality and performance Deploy and support production releases Own problems end-to-end and contribute ideas that shape the product direction Required Skills & Experience We care about people who ship high-quality software and solve problems with clarity and ownership. If that sounds like you, you’ll do great here. 4+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer Strong hands-on experience with React (Hooks, component patterns, state management) Experience with Java & Spring Boot (REST APIs, services) Solid WordPress development skills (custom plugins, ACF, post types, hooks) Comfortable working with REST APIs and modern CI/CD workflows Familiarity with Docker (basic usage) Clear communication and fluent English (written and spoken) Nice to Have Experience with GraphQL Knowledge of Python Familiarity with ChatGPT/OpenAI APIs Experience with MongoDB or PostgreSQL Basic Kubernetes understanding Experience working in product startups or SaaS platforms Who You Are You love building real products used by real users You take ownership and enjoy solving product challenges end-to-end You write clean, maintainable code without over-engineering You’re passionate about AI and eager to share your knowledge You collaborate well and like small, fast-moving teams What We Offer Remote-first work across EMEA Work with an innovative AI product in the search/SEO space Smart, friendly, and mission-driven team Opportunity to grow into Tech Lead responsibilities Option to work from our office in Rome city center How to Apply To apply, please send to jobs@wordlift.io your CV including: A link to your LinkedIn profile (with visible work history).
