Position Overview Woolpert is hiring a strategic, experienced, and highly collaborative Senior Director of Marketing and Communications to lead our global marketing organization. This position reports to the Chief Growth Officer. This leader will drive brand strategy, demand generation, industry marketing, go-to-market alignment, and multi-region marketing operations across AMER, EMEA, and APAC. The Senior Director of Marketing and Communications will oversee a multidisciplinary team to support Woolpert’s organic growth goals and advance our global brand in Architecture, Engineering, and Geospatial (AEG) markets. This role is responsible for building a modern, scalable marketing engine that enhances pipeline creation; strengthens Woolpert’s brand equity; and elevates our presence in Aviation, Maritime, Transportation, Water, Government & Defense, Energy, and other key industries. What You Will Do: Marketing Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute a unified, global marketing strategy aligned to the firm’s growth priorities and strategies. Build and mature a modern marketing organization with strong processes, governance, reporting, and regional consistency. Lead annual marketing planning and budgeting, ensuring alignment with leadership. Operationalize Woolpert’s brand architecture, identity, and messaging across all geographies and offerings. Industry & Regional Marketing Management: Lead and coach Industry Marketers supporting Woolpert’s priority sectors, offerings, and strategic accounts. Oversee EMEA and APAC Marketing Teams, ensuring alignment with global brand standards and localization for regional markets. Drive industry-specific campaigns, thought leadership, and industry event participation that generate measurable outcome. Brand, Creative, and Communications Oversight: Manage and support the managers of the Creative and Communications teams to ensure their success and effectiveness. Ensure consistent narrative and brand positioning across all customer, partner, and employee touchpoints. Demand Generation: Drive website performance, SEO/SEM, analytics, and digital experience optimization. Ensure event Marketing contributes consistently to sourced and influenced pipeline creation, aligned with sector revenue targets. Content, Thought Leadership & Case Studies: Shape a thought leadership program that highlights Woolpert’s expertise, innovation, and differentiated value propositions. Oversee development of case studies, whitepapers, articles, videos, and executive-level content to support all stages of the buyer journey. Partner with Market Directors and technical SMEs to ensure content accuracy and industry relevance. Marketing Operations & Performance Management: Build strong connections with Sales Operations and others to ensure data integrity, lead management, and reporting accuracy. Implement marketing dashboards (PowerBI) and KPIs around digital engagement, campaign ROI, brand health, and content performance. Establish efficient workflows, intake processes, SLAs, and cross-departmental coordination mechanisms (Creative, Comms, Industry Marketers, Sales, Proposal Ops). What You Will Bring: 12+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience; professional services experience strongly preferred (AEG, GIS, technology, or engineering sectors). Proven experience managing multi-regional marketing teams (AMER/EMEA/APAC). Demonstrated success driving measurable pipeline creation and brand expansion. Experience leading creative, communications, and digital teams in a matrixed organization. Strong understanding of account-based marketing (ABM), industry vertical marketing, and seller-doer models. Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills. Ability to operate strategically while driving operational execution. Experience in Architecture/Engineering/Geospatial professional services. Experience supporting government, defense, and infrastructure markets. Familiarity with MS Dynamics 365, Power BI, Sales Force, or similar platforms. Prior success building teams through high growth and M&A integration. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
