The Woodhaven Retirement Community (WRC) Executive Director is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care for residents in a manner that aligns with its mission and values. The Execurive Director position encompasses oversight of all aspects of the organization's operations, from strategic planning to day-to-day management. The role requires 24/7 accessibility and awareness of conditions, events and issues that could impact the effective delivery of healthcare and services. The ideal Executive Director will have a willingness to take risks and accept accountability for outcomes within the context of sound management processes. This individual will also work to ensure the organization operates with compassion, efficiency, accountability and financial responsibility while fostering a spiritually enriching environment. The Woodhaven Retirement Community (WRC) consists of Woodhaven, Woodpointe and Woodhaven at Bay City. There are five levels of inpatient/residential service: assisted living, enhanced assisted living, luxury living, long-term care and independent living; plus a daytime adult day program. WRC is licensed by the State of Michigan as a Home for the Aged snd also as an Adult Foster Care Facikity. The WRC mission is to provide compassionate, high quality senior living and rehabilitation services in the spirit of Christ. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: • Have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. • Be able to work effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders, including residents, families, staff, community members and the board of directors. • Have a passion for serving the senior and long-term care population. • Have at least five years of professional or management experience in a health or social service-related field. • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. • Be a Michigan Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (or make a commitment to achieve within one year).
