Project Manager - Application Services Summary : • Seeking experienced project managers to join the Application Services team. • We are seeking a hands-on self-starter and team player possessing both technical and interpersonal skills. • Must be flexible and able to multi-task to meet deadlines set by external agencies to align information technology solutions with business initiatives. • Under supervision project manager will be a key contributor supporting our Application Services applications and manage a variety of projects including request for proposals (RFP) infrastructure upgrades application enhancements and new development and implementation of COTS / vendor applications with multiple integrations. • Should possess high level understanding in the areas of project management methodology web application programming content management systems API database and system design. • Identification of the technical approach to be used on a given project and manage the system development process. • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and interact at all levels. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including developers product owners and subject matter experts. • Advocate for change and effectively communicate project value including navigating individual viewpoints and building consensus. • Manage scope throughout the project duration; Manage detailed project tasks by interfacing with team members correlating work to a Work Breakdown Structure and ensuring team members track time appropriately to project tasks. • Manage tasks and resources relating to support maintenance and enhancements of existing applications for Departments where applicable. • Potential Areas of Assignment w / duties described above : HR Finance Purchasing Auditing & Fiscal; eCommerce Legal Records Retention & Management • Experience Level : 5 years • Duration : 2 years • Environment : MS Visio MS Office Suite; Experience in Clarity (Workbench) Azure (DevOps) AWS (Cloud Migration) desirable Local resources preferable; remote resources may be submitted 80 BR Key Skills Project Management Methodology,Project / Program Management,Construction Estimating,Construction Experience,PMBOK,Visio,Construction Management,Project Management,Project Management Software,Microsoft Project,Project Management Lifecycle,Contracts Employment Type : Full Time Experience : years Vacancy : 1
