Job Title: Group Manager, Sourcing - Procurement Services (FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES) Location: Remote w/some travel (less than 10%) Employment Type: Full-time Industry: Procurement (Retail/CPG/BPO/Technology/Consulting) Experience Level: Senior-Level š§ About the Role We are seeking a Group Manager, Sourcing - Procurement Services (FUTURE OPPORTUNTIES) to join our team and contribute to a client sourcing service delivery team, they will be accountable for driving the performance, quality, and consistency of the delivery while guiding the career development of team members. They will lead a team of Strategic and Tactical Sourcing Coordinators in a client service delivery environment executing intermediate and complex sourcing projects, from start to finish. This includes, but is not limited to, the following key areas: creating and operationalizing process to capture key value levers across the main spend categories, validating sourcing requests per client guidelines, conducting requirements analysis for bid packages, communicating with client requesters to close any data gaps, preparing and publishing the package to the identified suppliers for bidding purposes, following up with suppliers to ensure adequate participation, and summarizing proposals back to the requestor. The ideal candidate will possess deep sourcing and category management expertise, and knowledge of digital procurement suites. They will also be a team player, have high emotional intelligence and exceptional stakeholder management. š¼ Key Responsibilities ⢠Leads a team of Strategic and Tactical Sourcing coordinators to meet savings, cycle time, quality, and customer satisfaction SLAs in the client services environment. ⢠Monitors all Sourcing Team activity and ensures successful delivery of sourcing services to our clients based on predefined service levels. The services that the team performs for the client include, but are not limited to Vendor Business Review Preparation, Market Intelligence Research, Category Management, RFx Execution (RFP, RFI, RFQ), and Master SOW negotiation. ⢠Maintains visibility to approximately 50 ā 100 active sourcing activities (with each team member managing approximately 5 ā 12 tactical to complex projects simultaneously) and proactively coaches to mitigate issues and ensure maximized value to the business. Client and Program Management: ⢠Lead client operations, reviews, and SLA reporting. ⢠Own escalations, quality, and process improvements. ⢠Drive efficiency and performance through data and insights. Delivery Team / People Management: ⢠Manage project pipeline, resource capacity, staffing, and team training to meet client needs. ⢠Provide leadership on high-impact projects while overseeing quality assurance and delivery standards. ⢠Set objectives, manage performance, and coach team members to support growth and development. Procurement Functional/Technical Skills: ⢠Proven experience driving operational rigor and SLA/KPI adherence across sourcing teams. ⢠Strong expertise in Procure-to-Pay and strategic sourcing, including eSourcing, RFX development, and sourcing methodologies. ⢠Ability to quickly identify and execute sourcing levers to maximize value and efficiency. ⢠Excellent communication and presentation skills with senior-level stakeholders. ⢠Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel capabilities, to synthesize data and deliver insights and recommendations. ⢠Proficiency with eProcurement, project management, and contract management tools, with foundational negotiation skills. Business Fundamentals: ⢠Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders; strong team leadership and collaboration. ⢠Proven project management and problem-solving skills, including planning, prioritization, and critical path management. ⢠Strong customer service and relationship management capabilities with effective issue resolution. ⢠Sound decision-making ability and adaptability in learning and navigating client-specific processes, systems, and environments. Leadership/People Management Skills: ⢠Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and manage people. š Required Qualifications AND ā Preferred Qualifications ⢠Bachelorās Degree ⢠Minimum 8-10 years of work experience in procurement, sourcing, operations, or supply chain ⢠Deep specific category knowledge and expertise from Tech/Professional Services/Marketing/Real Estate ⢠Understanding of key sourcing concepts such as various remuneration models, TCO, change management, as well as a basic understanding of the following areas (e.g. pricing structures, terminology, bidding sheet development expertise, cost structure, key vendors, etc.) ⢠Consulting or client service delivery experience preferred. ⢠Deep understanding of at least one sourcing category and a good understanding of an additional 2-5 categories (e.g. pricing/cost structures, terminology, key vendors, key requirements, typical sourcing levers, etc.). ⢠Prior management experience supervising 10 or more people. ⢠Strong coaching/teaching skills to be an effective people manager. ⢠Advanced/āExpertā Excel skills, including working knowledge of filters, sorting, pivot tables, basic formulas, advanced formatting techniques, and advanced data manipulation skills ⢠Proficiency in multiple e-sourcing tools (e.g., Ariba, Procuri, Iasta, Zycus, ERP eSourcing module) at an āadvancedā level (as defined by WNS Software company, or client standards) ⢠Ability to assess projectsā fit for reverse auction, setup and manage reverse auctions with minimal supervision ⢠Advanced negotiation skills šµ Compensation Disclosure The base salary range for this position is $110K-$125K annually. This range reflects the base pay that we reasonably expect to offer for the role across our hiring locations. Final compensation will be determined based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to: Ā· Geographic location (state and city of residence) Ā· Overall professional experience Ā· Directly relevant experience Ā· Education and certifications Ā· Industry knowledge and expertise Ā· Skills and competencies In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for performance-based bonuses, or incentive pay, or commissions, which are not included in the listed base salary range.
