Fraud Consultant – AML, KYC, Cyber, Fraud, Austin Our client is a VC-backed startup that has experienced remarkable growth in just a few years. Well-funded, with an exceptional client base they are only at the beginning of their journey. We are now seeking to onboard a Senior Technical Account Manager to be based in the US ideally in Austin. What You’ll Do • Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers, serving as their go-to fraud prevention expert • Monitor and manage customer communications across multiple channels to deliver timely and effective solutions • Act as a technical and strategic advisor by providing in-depth fraud analysis, best practices, and actionable recommendations • Diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction • Develop and refine fraud detection rules to address emerging fraud trends with analytical precision • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve complex cases effectively • Oversee technical configurations and implementations during customer onboarding to ensure a seamless experience • Lead training sessions for new team members and contribute to key internal strategic initiatives What You’ll Bring • 3+ years in Fraud, AML, Cybercrime, or Risk Management with a proven record as an Technical Account Manager, Professional Services or Consultant • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to identify patterns and analyze fraud trends. • Experience with cloud-based software, APIs, and tools such as Slack, Postman, Jira, and service desk ticketing systems. • Familiarity with SQL or Python is a plus • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts simply and effectively. • A collaborative mindset with a passion for learning, sharing knowledge, and continuous improvement.
