SUMMARY Our Privacy, AI & Data Protection Counsel position is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious privacy and AI professional to join a global, rapidly growing B2B cybersecurity company. LOCATION: We are focused on candidates located in the US. We support both remote and hybrid models depending on your location. WHAT YOU’LL DO Serve as an escalation point for Wiz’s Commercial Legal team and other internal team members on privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, and AI issues in customer agreements such as DPAs, BAAs, and AI Addenda. Create and provide trainings and other educational sessions on privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, and AI to the Wiz Commercial Team and other internal team members to ensure understanding and alignment on these topics. Create and maintain playbooks, FAQs, and other educational resources on privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, and AI for use by the Wiz Commercial Legal team and other internal team members. Draft and maintain templates and customer terms as necessary for compliance with new laws and regulations relating to privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, and AI. Work closely with the Wiz Privacy, Data Protection, and AI team on Wiz’s privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, and AI compliance programs, and collaborate with the global legal, compliance, and security teams on tasks and projects related to privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, and AI. Work across a range of international jurisdictions, including the EU, UK, US, Canada, Australia, and Asia. Provide practical, customer- and business-focused guidance on privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, and AI-related compliance. Stay current with global privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, and AI regulations. WHAT YOU’LL BRING 4+ years of privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, and AI experience, including significant experience supporting commercial teams. Ability to quickly and amicably close agreements with customers on privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, and AI issues in commercial negotiations. Strong familiarity with privacy concepts and laws, including GDPR and US State laws. Knowledge of privacy requirements in Canada, Australia, Japan, India, and Singapore is a plus. Knowledge of sector-specific privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity regulations and requirements, including those related to the financial and healthcare sectors, is a plus. Expertise in AI-specific regulatory frameworks, including knowledge of the ethical, legal, and operational implications of AI technologies. Ability to learn quickly about new technologies and what privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, and/or AI risks and challenges these create for the business and understand how to practically mitigate and manage such risks. Ability to quickly translate privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, and/or AI regulatory requirements into practical, customer- and business-focused actions. A team-player, collaborative mindset, with experience working with legal, compliance, and technical teams to ensure customer-friendly outcomes that are favorable for the business. Ability to navigate and balance evolving regulatory landscapes, emerging risks, and business needs. Previous experience in a B2B SaaS company is a plus. Your Talent Partner can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. This role is eligible to participate in Wiz’s equity plan and may also include incentive compensation. The annual base salary range for this full-time position is listed below. US Base Pay Range $207,000—$285,000 USD Applicants must have the legal right to work in the country where the position is based, without the need for visa sponsorship.
