Location: East Coast, Central Time or Mountain Zone is required for the location - resource will sit 100% remote. West Coast is not acceptable. Job Title: IT Asset Application Rationalization / Renewal Analyst Key Responsibilities: Application Inventory & Assessment • Maintain a comprehensive inventory of applications across business units. • Evaluate applications based on usage, cost, business criticality, and technical compatibility. • Rationalization Strategy • Identify redundant, obsolete, or underutilized applications. • Recommend actions such as consolidation, retirement, replacement, or upgrade. Stakeholder EngagementData Analysis & ReportingCost OptimizationGovernance & ComplianceTool UtilizationContract Lifecycle ManagementRenewal Planning & ExecutionVendor EngagementUsage & Compliance AnalysisReporting & DocumentationProcess Optimization • Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and enterprise architects to gather insights and validate findings. • Facilitate workshops and interviews to understand application value and dependencies. • Analyze application data to support rationalization decisions. • Develop dashboards and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to leadership. • Support efforts to reduce licensing, support, and infrastructure costs through rationalization. • Track savings and efficiency gains from rationalization initiatives. • Ensure rationalization efforts align with IT governance, security, and compliance standards. • Maintain documentation and audit trails for rationalization decisions. • Use tools such as ServiceNow application portfolios. • Support integration of rationalization data into broader ITAM and enterprise architecture systems. • Maintain a centralized repository of IT contracts and renewal schedules. • Track key dates, terms, and conditions for all IT-related agreements. • Monitor upcoming contract expirations and initiate renewal processes. • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to assess renewal needs and obtain approvals. • Communicate with vendors to obtain renewal quotes, updated terms, and negotiate pricing. • Ensure service continuity and avoid lapses in support or licensing. • Review asset usage data to validate renewal quantities and ensure compliance. • Identify opportunities to reduce costs through right-sizing or consolidation. • Generate reports on renewal status, cost savings, and contract performance. • Maintain audit-ready documentation of renewal decisions and approvals. • Recommend and implement improvements to the renewal workflow. • Leverage ITAM tools - ServiceNow.Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field. • 3+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, Application Portfolio Management, or Enterprise Architecture in ServiceNow. • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making. • Familiarity with application lifecycle management and rationalization frameworks. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Skills: • Experience with APM tools • Basic Project Management • Knowledge of cloud migration and modernization strategies. • Understanding of ITIL. Job Type: Contract Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.00 per week Benefits: • Health insurance Work Location: Remote
