Job Summary: The Manager of Logistics, Reverse Logistics & Third-Party Warehousing is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end movement, storage, recovery, and disposition of equipment and materials supporting Wittenbach’s security, cash automation, and branch transformation solutions. This role manages outbound logistics to customer sites, inbound and reverse logistics from field removals and upgrades, and day-to-day relationships with third-party warehouses and logistics providers. The ideal candidate brings strong operational discipline, vendor management expertise, and a continuous-improvement mindset to ensure cost-effective, secure, and timely delivery of equipment across a national footprint. Requirements Inventory & Asset Control Maintain visibility and accountability for inventory across warehouses, transit, and field locations Improve inventory accuracy, turnover, and utilization Implement processes to reduce shrink, damage, and obsolescence Support asset tracking for serialized equipment and regulated materials Process Improvement & Cost Management Identify opportunities to streamline logistics and reverse logistics workflows Drive cost reductions through vendor negotiations, consolidation, and process efficiencies Implement best practices for logistics, warehousing, and returns management Leverage data and reporting to inform decisions and forecast capacity needs Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Field Service, Operations, Project Management, Procurement, Finance, and Sales Support large-scale deployments, branch transformations, and national rollouts Ensure logistics readiness aligns with customer commitments and installation schedules Functional/Technical Skills: Required Experience managing third-party logistics and warehouse providers Strong understanding of inventory management and asset tracking Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, service-driven environment Preferred Experience supporting field service organizations or nationwide deployments Background in security equipment, financial services hardware, electronics, or regulated assets Familiarity with refurbishment, redeployment, or lifecycle management programs Experience with ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of experience in logistics, reverse logistics, or warehouse management Education and Training (Specify any educational or formal training requirements for this position e.g., areas of specialty, degrees, certifications/licenses.) · Forklift certification required. Environmental/Mental/Physical Demands: Hybrid/On-site Flexibility: This position is based in Charlotte and operates on a hybrid or on-site basis depending on specific business needs. National Footprint: The role involves managing shipments and logistics providers across a national footprint, which may require occasional travel to external facilities or customer sites Third-Party Facilities: Responsibilities include leading on-site audits and performance reviews at third-party warehouses, exposing the manager to standard warehouse environments including loading docks and equipment staging areas Fast-Paced Operations: The environment is service-driven and fast-paced, requiring the ability to manage multiple high-priority logistics and installation schedules simultaneously. Physical Demands Equipment Oversight: The role involves overseeing the movement and storage of heavy and sensitive equipment, such as ATMs, ITMs, cash automation machines, and security systems Inventory Inspections: The manager must lead processes for the inspection and triage of returned hardware, which may involve physical assessment of equipment in various states of repair. Audit Activity: Conducting inventory cycle counts and audits at external facilities requires the physical ability to navigate warehouse floors and inspect serialized assets. High-Value Handling: Must ensure compliance with strict handling requirements for high-value, regulated, and sensitive equipment, requiring high attention to detail and occasional physical monitoring of secure transit protocols Cognitive and Mental Demands Strategic Decision-Making: Required to use data-driven decision-making to optimize freight modes and balance cost against service quality.
