Compliance Coordinator – Residential Property Management (Manhattan) We are a Manhattan-based residential property management firm seeking a highly organized and experienced Compliance Coordinator to oversee regulatory compliance across our multifamily portfolio. This role works closely with ownership, property managers, and building staff to ensure all city requirements are met accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities • Monitor, track, and resolve violations with DOB, DOHMH, DSNY, HPD, and DEP; attend remote hearings as needed • Partner with Property Managers to manage DOB violations, hearings, and corrective actions • Oversee boiler and elevator inspections, filings, and required follow-ups • Maintain compliance calendars to ensure timely inspections, filings, and reporting deadlines • Support Property Managers in resolving all open violations and documenting compliance progress • Prepare updates and compliance reports for ownership and senior management • Train building staff on preventative compliance procedures and best practices • Track compliance cycles for key NYC Local Laws, including: LL11 (Façade Inspections), LL84 (Energy/Efficiency Requirements), LL87, LL97, LL126 (Parapet & Parking Garage Inspections), LL152 (Gas Line Inspections) Qualifications • Minimum 3+ years of NYC compliance experience in property management • Strong working knowledge of DOB codes, violations, and correction processes • Familiarity with DOHMH, DSNY, HPD, and DEP regulations • Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-through skills • Demonstrated ability to manage and close compliance issues efficiently Benefits • Competitive salary • Health, dental, and vision insurance • 401k • Paid time off and holidays Job Type: Full-time Pay: $57,500.00 - $67,500.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Experience: • Expediting: 3 years (Required) Work Location: In person
