Full Description

Warehouse Associate 1 contributes to the efficient operation of the warehouse by providing labor support to the Branch Office. Warehouse Associate 1 in this job performs a range of general and specific warehouse tasks that can be easily learned on the job such as receiving, stocking, assembling, staging, loading, and unloading products. • Package finished product for shipping (Shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling). • Stages finished product for loading. • Check purchase orders/ work orders to ensure that products are correctly assembled and ready for delivery. • Check items to ensure that the correct number of products are being assembled. • Assists in inventory level maintenance and inventory counts. • Load the finished product onto the truck. • Unload products from trucks, containers, and stock them in the designated area. • Responsible for quality control. Ensure that no damaged products are sent out, and no damaged products will be stored. • Operate pallet jack within standard operating procedures. • Perform preventive maintenance on palette jacks. • Perform on-the-job training for new employees. • Handle inventory movement into and out of controlled locations. • Prepare customers' orders for delivery. • Provide fill-in support for other departments in the warehouse. • Other duties as assigned.
