The goal of this role at Wisk is to ensure the reliable and efficient integration, deployment, and operation of complex software models within our core simulation framework. You will be part of the Autonomy Simulation team that delivers high-fidelity simulation environments critical for autonomous flight development. This position is Remote in the US and will require travel as needed. What you will do: Lead the development and integration of new autonomy modules within the simulation environment, ensuring functional correctness and performance. Support the deployment, integration, and build processes of the SimFra environment, contributing to its continuous improvement and stability. Collaborate directly with code owners and technical stakeholders to resolve integration issues and enable key team milestones. Maintain and improve model compatibility, focusing on Python, C++ used for simulation, and ensuring seamless execution within the environment. Act as a key contributor to the simulation environment deployment strategy, ensuring use case-related integration of all necessary modules. Requirements Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Computer Science, Aerospace, etc.) with at least 3 years of experience in model or software integration within complex systems. Proficiency in Python, C++ for developing and integrating models and core infrastructure components. Hands-on experience with deployments, environment integration, and build systems. Familiarity with simulation frameworks and the concept of integrating software models (like Autonomy Modules) into a runtime environment. Experience collaborating with cross-functional software teams and external stakeholders to drive technical milestones Experience in aviation and/or autonomy systems development. Job Type: Full-time Pay range the company expects to pay: $161,000 - $189,000 per year - The starting base salary within this range for this role varies based on factors such as your geographical location, and your relevant job-related experience that is consistent with a business necessity.
