Position Summary Under the general supervision of the Program Support Supervisor the Medical Program Assistant Associate is responsible for providing program assistance to supervisory, professional, and administrative staff. This position's responsibilities will include the maintenance of records of personnel and business transactions, assembling medical records, preparation and handling of incoming and outgoing correspondence using computers and word processing software, preparation of service utilization reports, typing, filing, telephone calls, and other duties as assigned. Salary Information This position is in schedule-range 02-11 with a salary of $22.31 per hour. Job Details Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States (i.e. a citizen or national of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. without DOC sponsorship) at the time of application. The Department of Corrections may conduct pre-employment drug screens. Qualifications Note: Candidates must be a resident of the State of Wisconsin in order to be considered. Minimally Qualified Candidates Will Have Experience • Utilizing computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suites to create or manage data, reports, spreadsheets, memos, etc. • Providing administrative support (e.g. managing schedules, answering calls, scanning, and filing documents, etc.) and working with confidential or sensitive material. • Providing customer service, including answering questions and referring individuals to appropriate resources.
