We’re a ground-floor telecommunications startup preparing to enter Beta testing in Q1 2026, and we’re looking for a Twilio Studio expert who can jump into an almost-finished IVR/SMS system, learn it quickly, tighten the final 5%, and help us push this product across the finish line. Twilio Studio experience is a MUST. DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE NOT WORKED WITH TWILIO STUDIO FOR AT LEAST A YEAR. For engineers with a background in Python, communication servers, and database, this task can lead to a Director of Engineering key position to mange the entire telecommunications product. This will be a key position as the company is acquired for global deployment of this new communications product. This IVR system is part of a larger communications platform—mobile app + server + messaging—built to connect caregivers and their loved ones in a simple, reliable way. If you want to work directly with a patent-holding inventor, wireless industry expert, one of the originators of text messaging, and hands-on technical founder, this is a rare chance to make an immediate impact and grow into a leadership role. Your Impact • Dive into an existing Twilio Studio IVR and master it quickly • Finish the last critical 5% and clean up the complex edges • Test, refine, validate, and break/fix until it’s production-ready • Support real users in beta testing • Help deploy a product that goes nationwide → worldwide • Work side-by-side with an experienced founder (no layers, no bureaucracy) Must Have • Strong Twilio Studio experience • Able to debug and upgrade IVR flows quickly • Experience with Twilio Functions, webhooks, and API integrations Big Plus • Python, Flask, PostgreSQL • Full-stack experience • Flutter and Linux comfort • Cloud deployment / telecom experience Why This Role Rocks • Equity-based early role • Path to Engineering Director as we scale • Work on a product that genuinely helps families stay connected • Make visible contributions from day one If you want to own something real, ship it, and grow with us — let’s talk.
