Full Description

We are currently accepting applications from first-year law students (Class of 2028) interested in IP Litigation for our Summer Associate Program. Please see the opportunities below. You must select the specific position(s) you are interested in as part of your application. You may choose to be considered for a joint 1L & 2L summer associate position, a 2L summer associate position exclusively, or both. Candidates are encouraged to apply in accordance with their law school's recruiting guidelines. Early application is not necessary to be considered. 1L & 2L Summer Associate This is for both a 1L (Summer 2026) and a 2L (Summer 2027) position. Full participation in both programs is required for this specific application. Candidates who accept an offer will be eligible for a $20,000 bonus for committing to both summer programs. Limited spots are available. Interviews for 1L students will be conducted on a rolling basis beginning in November 2025. 2L Summer Associate This is for a 2L position only in our 2027 Summer Program. This position does not apply to our Dallas and Houston offices. Interviews for 2L students will be conducted on a rolling basis beginning in January 2026. Candidates should possess a record of excellent academic credentials as well as strong analytical, writing and verbal skills. We are specifically looking for candidates who are interested in IP Litigation and have a technical degree in the field of Electronics (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering) or Chemistry (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology) or related fields. The firm awards an IP incentive bonus to those with related degrees.
