Proven leadership in restaurant/hospitality, knowledge of shift management, budgeting, inventory control, POS experience (Aloha POS preferred), excellent communication, and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our dynamic team in a fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring that our guests receive the highest quality experience. Responsibilities • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff during shifts to ensure smooth operations. • Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and performance. • Manage shift schedules and allocate tasks effectively to meet operational needs. • Monitor inventory levels and assist with budgeting to ensure cost-effective operations. • Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS, to process transactions and manage orders efficiently. • Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction. • Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure timely food preparation and presentation. • Uphold health and safety standards within the establishment. Requirements • Proven leadership experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably in fine dining. • Strong knowledge of shift management practices and supervisory skills. • Familiarity with budgeting processes and inventory management. • Experience with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is highly desirable. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. • A commitment to providing exceptional service and helping others succeed. • Previous experience in training development is a plus.
