Job Summary Friendly and reliable Lead Cashier who makes sure every guest has a smooth, welcoming experience. Handles orders and payments accurately, keeps the front area running smoothly, and helps guide new cashiers. Known for staying upbeat, organized, and calm even during the dinner rush. Responsibilities • Manage the cashier team, providing guidance and supervision to ensure smooth checkout processes • Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and returns • Assist with upselling, and promoting store specials to increase sales • Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability • Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette • Perform cashier duties including processing payments, and issuing receipts • Support inventory management through stock replenishment and stock rotation • Ensure compliance with store policies and safety procedures at all times • Provide training and mentorship to new cashiers on POS operation, customer service, and store procedures • Creating cashier schedule, counting hours and tips every pay period. Requirements • Previous cashier experience in a restaurant environment is preferred • Supervising or leadership experience in a restaurant setting is highly desirable • Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities (Spanish/English) preferred • Proficiency with POS systems and basic retail math for transactions and cash handling • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor • Ability to upsell products and conduct product demos effectively • Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and retail sales techniques • Basic math skills for balancing registers and managing cash accurately • Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Pay: From $14.50 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week Benefits: • Employee discount • Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
