Job Summary Are you passionate about mental health, building community, and supporting individuals assigned female at birth? Are you an advocate who is savvy with Meta platforms and TikTok? Can you read, understand, and summarize research to help educate in the online space? If this sounds like you, you are in the right place! We are looking for a self-led member to join our nonprofit team and create content that is evidence-based, relatable, and rooted in equity and accessibility while also helping build our community and grow our partnerships. We are looking for someone who can create pillared content on a schedule, reach out to brands and organizations to create affiliate & paid content, and stay up to date on the latest research to inform their posts. Duties • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. • Create engaging content that aligns with our brand voice and nonprofit goals, utilizing graphic design skills and Canva for visual storytelling. • Monitor social media channels for trends, engage in social listening, and respond to comments using best practices. • Utilize, read through, and/or add to our growing research database to help create research-backed content that is educational and informative. • Produce high-quality multimedia content including graphic design and video editing for various campaigns and content pillars. • Reach out to brands, businesses, and organizations for collaborations, affiliate marketing, and partnerships. • Proofread all content before publication to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand standards. • Use your resources!!! TL;DR: You will create educational and relatable social media content and reach out to brands to establish affiliate partnerships. Our content requires a strong foundational knowledge of mental health, menstrual health, and Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD). You can use our research database to inform your posts. If interested, there is a lot of room to grow! Get involved in communications & design, help develop & manage campaigns, and take part in nonprofit initiatives. There are lots of connections & networking opportunities within the nonprofit, PMDD, and mental health space here. We want to build on your strengths and help your voice to be heard! Experience • Experience in social media management and content creation with a strong portfolio… or an eagerness to learn and grow. • Portfolio of interesting and creative social media posts. • Understanding of how to read research & studies. • Proficiency in Canva for graphic design tasks. • Familiarity with PMDD and menstrual health is a HUGE plus. • Basic understanding of digital marketing principles, relationship management, and branding techniques. • Excellent communication skills with a knack for storytelling through content creation. This position is contract-based and is paid per post + commission on affiliate marketing. This is a very part-time position and requires only 1-10 hours a week.
