Their mission is to lower electricity costs, protect wildlife, and build a globally respected renewable‑energy brand. Wind Harvest About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Front‑End Developer Intern to join our product engineering team at Wind Harvest. As an intern, you’ll work closely with our design and engineering teams to bring sleek, responsive, and accessible user‑interfaces to life for our web applications and informational site updates. This is a paid remote internship, offering an hourly rate between $22 and $30, depending on your experience and time commitment. Responsibilities Collaborate with UX/UI designers and back‑end developers to implement new features and updates to our web presence Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (React preferred) Translate design mockups and wireframes into high‑quality code, ensuring visual fidelity to Wind Harvest’s brand and mission Optimize applications and pages for maximum speed and scalability, including responsive design across devices Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and provide UI bug fixes when needed Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and accessibility compliance Learn and adapt to new technologies, frameworks, and best practices in front‑end development Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field Familiarity with a modern front‑end framework (React, Vue.js, or similar) Good understanding of responsive web design principles and cross‑browser compatibility Basic experience with Git for version control and collaboration Good communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
