2-4 years in HR support roles, experience with Workday, knowledge of North American employment law, strong communication skills.
Reporting to the Manager, People Strategy, the P&C Business Partner will primarily support the North America (NAM) region (Canada, United States, Mexico) with a strong focus on employee relations and day-to-day people support. In this role, you will manage a range of employee relations matters, support leaders through performance and conduct issues, and ensure consistent application of people practices in line with company policy and local requirements. You’ll partner closely with senior HR leaders to learn how people strategy is developed and translated into practical, compliant solutions for the business. You will work within a collaborative People & Culture team, gaining exposure to broader HR initiatives while building confidence and judgment in an HR Business Partner role. This position requires thoughtful problem-solving, sound judgment, and the ability to escalate and collaborate when navigating complex or sensitive situations. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations matters across the NAM region, handling issues related to performance, conduct, attendance, and policy interpretation with consistency and care Partner with people leaders to provide guidance on day-to-day people matters, escalating complex cases and collaborating with senior HR leaders as appropriate Support investigations, documentation, and resolution of employee relations concerns in alignment with company policy and local employment requirements Assist in the execution of people strategies developed by senior HR leaders, translating direction into practical actions that support the business Contribute to performance management processes, including coaching leaders on feedback conversations, documentation, and improvement planning Ensure HR practices are applied consistently and compliantly across NAM locations, partnering with internal stakeholders as needed Collaborate with global People & Culture peers to support initiatives related to employee experience, engagement, and operational improvements Maintain accurate documentation and data within HR systems, supporting reporting and continuous improvement efforts Participate in projects and initiatives that build HR capability, improve processes, and strengthen manager effectiveness over time REQUITEMENTS: 2–4 years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role, supporting employee relations and day-to-day people matters Hands-on experience using Workday for core HR activities, including employee data management, documentation, and day-to-day HR processes Experience supporting employee relations matters and advising leaders on people practices, policies, and performance-related issues Working knowledge of employment practices and compliance considerations within North America Ability to apply sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and navigate sensitive situations with professionalism Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document issues clearly and accurately Comfort working in a remote environment and collaborating with partners across regions and time zones Ability to manage multiple priorities and escalate appropriately when situations require additional support Welcome to the Wilson Careers page!
