Position Summary In this role, you will take charge of all administrative functions, including: • Operations and financial management • Managed care and third-party contracting • Physician liaison and medical business management Position Requirements Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required. Experience: A minimum of five years in physician practice management, billing, collections, and administrative duties is necessary, along with strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Skills: Excellent computer skills, communication, and presentation abilities are essential. You should demonstrate competency in self-direction, meeting deadlines, and supporting physician groups. Physical Environment: The position will be in a physician and clinical setting. Physical Effort: Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing. This role may require prolonged periods of standing and lifting up to 25 lbs. Performance Standards • Oversee physician billing and collections, ensuring prompt handling of accounts. • Coordinate financial and budget reporting for physician practices. • Manage HR duties such as employment and employee relations under HR guidance. • Handle all managed care and third-party contracts. • Participate in developing policies for physician practices. • Ensure all credentials and licenses are current with support from hospital departments. • Maintain office and medical equipment and upkeep maintenance agreements. • Complete staff evaluations timely, in compliance with standards. • Address patient complaints promptly and professionally. • Conduct departmental meetings for updates and policy changes. • Collaborate with hospital administration for business development initiatives.
