William Everett is seeking a Business Analyst with strong Power BI expertise and experience in K–12 education. This role will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating educational and operational needs into clear requirements and actionable insights. Responsibilities • Partner with K–12 stakeholders (e.g., district leadership, finance, operations, IT, instructional teams) to understand business needs and priorities • Elicit, document, and validate business, functional, and data requirements • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support decision-making across K–12 functions (e.g., finance, enrollment, staffing, academic performance, operations) • Analyze and transform data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and usability • Translate complex data and technical concepts into clear, stakeholder-friendly insights and recommendations • Support data governance, reporting standards, and best practices within a K–12 environment • Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and project managers to ensure solutions meet requirements and timelines • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations with both technical and non-technical audiences Skills • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Education, Data Analytics, or a related field • Hands-on experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI • Experience working within a K–12 school district or with clients that specialize in K–12 education • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role • Strong understanding of data analysis, reporting, and visualization best practices • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly • Proven ability to work directly with clients or business stakeholders • Ability to pass a criminal background check • Authorized to work in the US for any employer • Local in the Chicagoland area Benefits • Performance Bonus Eligible • 401(k) plan • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance • Life and disability insurance • Commuter Benefits • Paid time off options, including vacation, sick time, fixed holidays, parental leave.
