Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for a hands-on, service-driven Dining Services Manager to lead dining room operations in the White Oak Grill and the Neighborhoods. This leader is passionate about hospitality and team development, and understands that exceptional dining experiences are built through strong daily execution, coaching, and accountability. Through mentoring and developing a dynamic service team, this role ensures every dining experience reflects our commitment to Inspiring the Art of Living Well. The ideal candidate is an operational leader who thrives in managing the details that keep dining services running smoothly. They ensure consistent compliance with regulatory requirements, sanitation standards, and workplace safety practices while maintaining high service quality. From conducting routine inspections and monitoring staff performance to responding to incidents, managing inventory, maintaining equipment, and controlling waste, this manager ensures operations are safe, efficient, and within budget. We are seeking someone who communicates clearly, leads with confidence, and values continuous improvement. This manager evaluates workflows, staffing models, and service processes to identify opportunities for improvement and implement practical solutions. By leading daily operational meetings, providing real-time feedback, and collaborating closely with the Front of House Manager on hiring, training, and performance development, they ensure consistent service standards, strong team engagement, and a reliable, high-quality dining experience across all venues. • High School Diploma or GED • Minimum three years’ management experience in high-volume dining (25+ staff) • Oregon Food Safety Sanitation Certification • English language proficiency • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills • Strong organization, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities • Able to work in fast-paced environments including weekends/holidays Preferred Qualifications and Experience • Fine dining and continuing care retirement community experience preferred • Proven track record of driving meaningful improvements in a dining service environment • Strong understanding of scheduling software and POS systems Willamette View believes in building a sense of community and inclusivity, both in the relationships we build with our residents and with our own team.
