Position Summary The Systems Training Specialist will facilitate software systems training through virtual and live instruction. This position will also design and develop learning materials, programs, training curriculum, and other coursework as needed. Essential Position Functions Facilitate learning through classroom training and virtual webinars to teach and guide employees in properly utilizing various computer programs and applications used in the organization’s daily operations. Incorporate a variety of presentation methods to meet the needs of a diverse audience. Manage software system training content and measures that support strategic initiatives. Continually re-evaluate systems-based training and curriculum based on metrics and feedback; make revisions and updates to programs as needed. Consult with key stakeholders regarding training successes and areas of opportunity for continuous improvement of software system training. Evaluate software systems training by analyzing results, identifying training gaps and ways to enhance training effectiveness. Establish metrics to determine success of each training initiative. Collaborate with IT to support the roll out of new systems, enhancements, and version updates. Support troubleshooting and provide technical guidance for inquiries sent to clinical support. Manage multiple training programs, coordinate schedule and resources as needed. Facilitate electronic healthcare records training for new employees as needed. Conduct comprehensive needs analysis to ensure that training fulfills the needs and objectives of the company. Select appropriate instructional/educational delivery methods. Develop facilitator, mentor and participant guides, job aids, training curriculum and other required coursework as needed. Education & Experience Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in related field preferred OR minimum of three to five years of teaching or training experience, minimum three to five years of instructional design and/or curriculum planning. Healthcare experience desirable. Expected hiring range for this position depending on experience (annual salary): $69,000—$82,000 USD Compensation The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to education, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. This position is also eligible for incentive pay in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan. Employees in part-time roles working less than 40 hours per week will accrue PTO on a pro-rated basis. Physical Requirements The work is primarily performed while sitting and/or standing, but will require occasional walking, bending, stooping and carrying light items such as papers, books, or other supplies.
