๐ฟ Volunteer Leadership Opportunity: Operations Director for Wildlife Nonprofit ๐ฆ Wild Earth Conservancy is seeking a Volunteer Operations Director to build our organization from the ground up. This is not typical volunteering - this is startup leadership. THE OPPORTUNITY: We're establishing a Wildlife Rehabilitation Eco-Village in the Carolinas - connecting rehabilitation centers through protected wildlife corridors. We're in startup phase: recruiting volunteers, securing land, raising funds toward our $300K Phase 1 facility. Our executive director is an experienced wildlife rehabilitator and zookeeper with over 15 years of experience. What we need is someone to run operations while she focuses on planning and partnerships. That's where you come in. THE ROLE: As Volunteer Operations Director, you will: โ Build and manage our volunteer program โ Coordinate all initiatives (fundraising, grants, land acquisition, social media) โ Create systems and standard operating procedures โ Manage day-to-day operations โ Work directly with founder on strategy โ Have real decision-making authority You're the COO to the founder's CEO.
