Full Description

About Us Wild Alaskan Company’s mission is to accelerate humanity’s transition to sustainable food systems by fostering meaningful, interconnected relationships between human beings, wild seafood and the planet. We deliver wild-caught, sustainable seafood to households across the United States. Powered by our custom-built eCommerce platform and three generations of history and expertise in the Alaskan fishing industry, we constantly strive to meet our promise of a top-notch product and experience. And we do it all in a fully-remote environment that is fast-paced, challenging, and fun. GENERAL ROLE DESCRIPTION You’re the type who sees patterns others miss. When a process slows down, you map it out, find the friction, and propose a smarter way forward. You can zoom out to see how systems connect, but you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and dig into the details — testing, documenting, and ensuring the team has what it needs to ship faster and smarter. Reporting to the EVP, you’ll collaborate closely and assist the rest of the product team. You’ll help the team hum, while enabling others to focus on value creation and feature adoption. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Track and update progress of work across multiple workstreams Assist in the development of internal documentation about how WAC’s products function Serve as the point-person across the company on product operations tasks and insights, as well as how our digital products function Willing to be a scrappy contributor in testing, UAT, requirements gathering and acceptance criteria development Champion best practices in product delivery, product operations, and continuous improvement Identify inefficiencies in current processes, frameworks and toolsets, and propose improvements Other initiatives and duties as assigned REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Experienced in operations, technical program management, and/or customer experience-type responsibilities Systems thinker with a bias for action and process optimization Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Insatiable desire to learn Clear communicator and natural collaborator Comfortable with being uncomfortable Comfortable managing tools, workflows, and documentation in a scaling environment NICE TO HAVES Love for wild-caught, sustainable seafood Experience supporting product or marketing teams in a DTC or subscription-based business Familiarity with analytics platforms (Amplitude, GA4, Segment) Fluent in SQL Experience with: Intercom, Heap/Content Square, Snowflake, Looker *If you have a comparable depth of professional experience, believe your skills are directly transferable, and are passionate about our mission, please apply! The starting salary range for this position is $60,000 - $65,000, commensurate with skills and experience. Wild Alaskan’s benefits package includes health, vision, and dental insurance, 401k, PTO, safe/sick time, vacation, parental leave and more, as well as a delicious box of free fish every month.
