The Predictive Analytics Statistician has a pivotal role in guiding our clients' marketing endeavors. This position entails developing and validating predictive models, crafting multi-model solutions, and collaborating closely with Client Success Directors and other teams focused on delivering the best audiences to clients. Beyond these technical tasks, the statistician fosters a culture of innovation and collaboration, ensuring that team members are equipped with the necessary skills and insights to deliver exceptional results. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Develop and validate predictive models by harnessing Wiland’s proprietary modeling systems and cutting-edge statistical software. • Craft semi-customized model summaries within Excel to effectively communicate critical model insights and anticipated outcomes. • Leverage Wiland’s proprietary modeling systems to construct multi-model solutions, aiding Client Success and clients in their marketing and circulation planning. • Foster an ongoing partnership with the Client Success teams to gain invaluable insights into the consumer data, customer profiles, modeling choices, production schedules, and performance metrics of your assigned clients. • Conduct comprehensive analyses of new models and multi-model solutions to validate performance and assess potential audience depth based on desired campaign metrics. • Perform in-depth results analyses post-campaign, involving scrutiny of client-supplied results, and promotion file analysis. • Participate in client meetings to grasp the contextual nuances behind their predictive modeling needs, ensuring a thorough understanding of client objectives and expectations. EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's Degree in quantitative discipline (Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, etc.) or equivalent work experience. Must be able to produce college transcripts showing minimum 3.0 GPA if applicable. • 3+ years experience using predictive modeling methods (regression analysis, decision trees, neural networks, etc.). • 3+ years experience with SQL, R, Alteryx or other data manipulation and statistical analysis platforms. • 3+ years experience in database marketing, data mining, analysis and modeling • Solid quantitative and analytical aptitude and the ability to apply those concepts in a business setting, identifying relevant business questions and conceptualizing quantitative solutions. • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
