Role Overview: As a Backend Engineer at Widenet Consulting, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining a robust document management system (DMS) deployed on AWS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable backend services that support efficient document processing and storage. What You'll Do: - You will champion and own the design, development, and delivery of a scalable document management system. - You will create and evolve document processing pipelines to ensure efficient data handling. - You will develop and maintain backend services deployed on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance. - You will collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver seamless user experiences. - You will implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment. - You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain system reliability. - You will contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement initiatives. - You will document system designs and development processes for team knowledge sharing. What You Bring: - 3+ years of experience in backend development, preferably with AWS cloud services. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js. - Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture. - Experience with document management systems or similar data processing pipelines. - Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
