Job Title: Backend Engineer Company Overview: Widenet Consulting is a leading technology solutions provider specializing in cloud-based software development and digital transformation services. Role Overview: As a Backend Engineer at Widenet Consulting, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering a robust document management system (DMS) deployed on AWS. You will be responsible for creating and evolving document processing pipelines and storage solutions that meet high standards of performance and reliability. What You'll Do: - You will champion and own the design, development, and delivery of a scalable document management system. - You will create and evolve document processing pipelines to ensure efficient data handling. - You will develop and maintain backend services deployed on AWS infrastructure. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend components with frontend applications. - You will implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment. - You will troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues. - You will contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement initiatives. - You will ensure security and compliance standards are met within the backend systems. What You Bring: - You have 3+ years of experience in backend software development. - You possess strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js. - You have hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB. - You are skilled in designing and implementing RESTful APIs. - You have a solid understanding of database technologies and data storage solutions. - You demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with document management systems or content management platforms. - Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools. - Exposure to security best practices in cloud environments.
