Job Title: AI Data Engineer Company Overview: Widenet Consulting is a forward-thinking technology consulting firm specializing in data-driven solutions and AI innovations. Role Overview: As an AI Data Engineer at Widenet Consulting, you will play a critical role in delivering robust data solutions that power AI and machine learning initiatives. You will design and implement scalable data pipelines and models, ensuring high-quality data availability for enterprise AI use cases. What You'll Do: - You will build and maintain data pipelines using Databricks to manage raw and clean data layers. - You will develop and optimize data warehouse solutions in Snowflake to support AI workloads. - You will design and implement data transformations and testing frameworks using DBT. - You will collaborate with data scientists and AI teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable datasets. - You will monitor data quality and pipeline performance, troubleshooting issues proactively. - You will document data processes and maintain best practices for data engineering. - You will contribute to the continuous improvement of the Enterprise Data Platform’s AI capabilities. - You will stay current with emerging data engineering technologies and recommend innovative solutions. What You Bring: - You have 3+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably with AI/ML data pipelines. - You are proficient in Databricks, Snowflake, and DBT. - You have strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling and ETL processes. - You possess solid programming skills in Python or Scala. - You have experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and AI model deployment. - Familiarity with data governance and security best practices. - Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
