Role Overview: As an AI Data Engineer at Widenet Consulting, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of data for AI and machine learning use cases. You will focus on building robust data pipelines and models using modern data platforms to enable scalable and efficient AI solutions. What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Databricks to process raw and clean data layers. - You will build and optimize data models and transformations in Snowflake to support AI/ML workloads. - You will implement data transformations and testing frameworks using DBT to ensure data quality and reliability. - You will collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. - You will monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and resolve issues proactively. - You will document data workflows and maintain best practices for data engineering processes. - You will contribute to the continuous improvement of the Enterprise Data Platform to support evolving AI needs. - You will stay current with emerging data technologies and recommend innovative solutions. What You Bring: - 3+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably with a focus on AI/ML data pipelines. - Proficiency with Databricks, Snowflake, and DBT for data processing, warehousing, and transformation. - Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling and ETL/ELT processes. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating cross-functionally. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with machine learning frameworks or supporting AI model deployment. - Knowledge of Python or Scala for data engineering tasks. - Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards. - Prior consulting experience or working in fast-paced environments.
