Role Overview: As an AI Data Engineer at Widenet Consulting, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality data pipelines and models to support AI and machine learning initiatives. You will work closely with data scientists and engineers to build scalable data infrastructure using modern tools and platforms. What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Databricks to process raw and clean data layers. - You will build and optimize data models and transformations in Snowflake to support AI/ML use cases. - You will implement data transformation and testing workflows using DBT to ensure data quality and reliability. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions. - You will monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and resolve issues proactively. - You will document data processes and maintain best practices for data engineering. - You will stay current with emerging data technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems. What You Bring: - 3+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably with a focus on AI/ML data pipelines. - Proficiency with Databricks, Snowflake, and DBT for data processing, warehousing, and transformation. - Strong programming skills in Python and SQL. - Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data quality testing. - Ability to work collaboratively in agile teams and communicate technical concepts effectively. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and AI model deployment. - Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. - Background in big data technologies such as Spark or Kafka.
