Role Overview: As an AI Data Engineer at Widenet Consulting, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of data for AI and machine learning use cases. You will focus on building robust data pipelines and models using modern data platforms to enable scalable and efficient AI solutions. What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Databricks to process raw and clean data layers. - You will build and optimize data models and transformations in Snowflake to support AI/ML workloads. - You will implement data transformations and testing frameworks using DBT to ensure data quality and reliability. - You will collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. - You will monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and resolve issues proactively. - You will document data workflows and maintain best practices for data engineering processes. - You will contribute to the continuous improvement of the Enterprise Data Platform to support evolving AI needs. What You Bring: - 3+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably with a focus on AI/ML data pipelines. - Strong expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, and DBT. - Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation. - Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes. - Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and AI model deployment. - Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. - Background in data governance and security best practices.
